Patient advocacy starts with a very thorough exam, where we review your medical and dental questionnaires in detail, with careful attention to all of your concerns.  We practice Interactive Diagnosis, where we show you your digital x-rays while narrating our findings.  We explain your conditions, so you can best understand how they developed, and offer advice about prevention.  Many dental conditions are caused by things you wouldn't expect, so our patients benefit from an effort for risk management. We have over 30 years of experience developing advanced methods to treat tooth decay, broken teeth, tooth loss, gum disease, infections, and cosmetic conditions.

Dental problems can usually be treated in more than one way.  You deserve to learn about your choices.  We have succeeded when give you enough information to make choices that are right for you.  We offer a full range of dental options, from basic to elegant.  For example, you can choose different types of materials for crowns and fillings, and there are several ways to replace missing teeth.

Advanced technologies for dental care

 Computers throughout Collins Family and Implant Dentistry provide the finest patient record and education systems available.  We offer digital x-rays and use 3D digital x-ray systems for some of our implant cases.  We have electronic services to send appointment reminders by email and/or text.  Dr. Collins has been a pioneer of these technologies from the start, participating as a beta tester and as a charter member of The Task Force for Dental Informatics and the Association of Telemedicine Service Providers.  We are constantly embracing new technologies, materials, and methods.
